Diary of Julia A. Bugbee Bradt Seelinger August-September 1870
A sample
page from Julia’s diary, transcribed and annotated Hale Bradt has recently completed a
commentary to this interesting journal of his great-grandmother’s journey in
a wagon from Michigan to Nebraska in 1870.
In this PDF, entitled Diary of
Julia A. Bugbee Bradt Seelinger, Hale includes his foreword to the diary,
photographs, Google maps of the journey, along with a transcription of the
diary and handwritten comments in the margins. The journey
young Julia took with her new husband, Isaac Bradt is part of the Bradt
historical legacy. See Charles Edwin Bradt
for more references to Julia’s connection to the Bradts. |
